Si No Te Tuviera a Ti

If I Didn't Have You
If I didn't have you,
I'd have nothing at all,
Not even the river in your gaze,
Where I wash my worries away,
Not the dream when you kiss me,
That’s my only safe place,
There wouldn't be a bright moon,
The sky would hide away.
If I didn't have you,
Maybe I'd have a life,
But death would be lurking
In my chest, it would be,
There wouldn't be in my stumbles,
The birds would fall silent,
The earth would keep on spinning,
Heart of sun and joy.
If I didn't have you,
I wouldn't know why I exist,
There'd only be the void,
Followed by the nonsense,
Maybe I'd have the air,
The sky with its stars,
But I wouldn't know the name,
Of the light that comes with it.
Maybe I'd have my body,
But I wouldn't feel it,
And my hands without your hands,
Would be empty shells,
The order of the planets,
Without your love would be thrown off,
And time without its horizon,
Like a hero wouldn’t kill.
If I didn't have you,
The ships wouldn't know
Where to set sail tomorrow,
Like the sea, they’d just stop,
Without a goal, the soul would wander,
Through a tunnel with no exit,
And then no one would know,
What death is and what life is.
If I didn't have you.
If I didn't have you.
If I didn't have you.
