Captain Big Rig
I'm Captain Big Rig, I drive a massive truck.
I don't want no flat-nosed bulldog, please, no luck.
Whether it's a semi or a city bus,
Gotta be a big rig, no doubt, that's a must.
I've got a huge engine that I can see and hear,
And under there, things go down behind closed doors, my dear.
It's got turbo with an intercooler,
A thousand horses howling when I’m the mover.
Chorus:
CAPTAIN BIG RIG,
Add a few more knots, dig?
In the front, you got an outdoor grill.
Maybe you’ll catch a moose, what a thrill.
CAPTAIN BIG RIG,
Right lane or left lane, take your pick,
Honk if you wanna, that’s the trick.
Tomorrow’s a hell of a ride.
I know a Dane who had a dog,
That got rabies, what a slog.
He started smoking pot, now they call him
Scania Cannabis, that’s the whim.
But he had to quit that mess,
No road was wide enough for that stress,
And it sure wasn’t free, I guess.
Chorus:
CAPTAIN BIG RIG...
I remember once the chapel came loose on Sinsen.
The tarp flapped like a tent at a festival in the season.
I got a bit too heavy on the gas,
And the whole setup vanished fast
Out into the province, what a blast.
Chorus:
CAPTAIN BIG RIG...
When I get to Sandgrunn, I’ll have
What they call the "Big Driver" laugh.
It’s eggs and bacon, fried potatoes too,
With root beer and coffee, just for you.
And it takes a while to digest, no lie,
So I’ll take an hour to close my eyes,
And even more coffee, oh my.
Chorus:
Captain Big Rig
