When I feel sadness approaching, I pray
When I see my faith faltering, I pray
When I feel like I'm not the same
When I think I am nobody
In prayer I find refuge and fear is driven away

When I pray I talk to God and God talks to me
Soon the doors of heaven open and I don't feel danger
Prayer is the key to everything, the prayer of a faithful believer
Has the power to strongly move the heart of God

When I see the waves coming, I pray
Kneeling in the shadow of the cross, I cry
And I shed my oppressed tears
Begging for God's blessing
Soon I feel the presence of God invading my being
