Where I was born, hey!
Where I grew up,
Where they raised me, darn
How I got here.

"the five peaks" were
My baptism of fire
I must confess, darn
That for me that was a game.

But then it ended
My adolescence was gone
Because with my "four mouths"
My conscience was reaffirmed.

In the center of the island
I faced the enemy
I had plenty of reasons
To have toughened up.

My great love and other loves
Were my great conquest
Between family and homeland
They filled me with joy.

But it was a greater joy
That forced me to march
Perhaps some pain
Something was going to tear,
But it was always better to fight.

The years that have passed
Defined my fate
The life I have led
Has a bit of death.

I end here, reborn there,
And in a short greeting
The homeland visits me
And once again I am silent.

Perhaps time can tell
If I will finally return,
And I think in English,
Perhaps in Spanish,
I shout it even in French:
who am I?.
