Tantum Ergo Sacramentum

Let us all praise together the mystery of love
For the price of this world was the redeeming blood
Received from Mary, who gave us the Savior

He came into the world through Mary, it was for us that He was born
He taught His doctrine, lived among men
At the end of His life, He gave us a gift

Observing the Jewish law, He gathered with His brothers
It was night, farewell, at a supper: Meal

He gave Himself to the twelve as food, with His own hands
The word of the Living God transformed the wine and the bread

In His blood and in His body, for our salvation
The miracle we do not see, faith is enough in the heart

So sublime sacrament, let us adore on this altar
For the old testament gave way to the new

Let faith come as a supplement to complete the senses
Let us sing to the eternal Father and to Jesus, the Savior

Let us exalt the Spirit, in the eternal love of the Trinity
To the one and triune God, let us give the joy of praise
