Manifested the power of his arm
He disconcerted the overwhelmed hearts
Toppled the mighty from their thrones
Exalted the humble

My soul glorifies the Lord
My spirit exults with joy
In God, my Savior
My spirit rejoices

Satisfied the poor with goods
Fired the rich empty-handed
He welcomed Israel, reminded of his mercy
As promised to our parents
In favor of Abraham's posterity
