One day, by the seaside
A young Galilean appeared

Someone took the young Galilean
No one knew what was wrong
And the crime He committed, what were His sins
His honest way of denouncing
Shook the position of some privileged ones

And they killed Jesus of Nazareth
And in the midst of thieves they put His cross
But the world still fears Jesus
Who had so much love

Victorious, He rose
And after three days, He returned to life
Resurrected, He dies no more
He is with the Father, for He is the eternal Son
But He lives in every home
And where a fraternal heart is found

We proclaim that Jesus of Nazareth
Glorious and triumphant, God is with us
He is the Christ, He is the reason for our faith
And one day He will return
