Kein Schwein Ruft Mich An
Palastorchester
No One Calls Me
No one calls me
No one gives a damn about me
As long as I live here
It's almost like a mockery
The phone stays silent
No one calls me
No one gives a damn about me
And I wonder
Does anyone ever
think of me?
I find this situation highly fatal
Not normal for today's times
Where everyone just complains
that the phone is a nerve-wracker
I hardly dare to leave the house
Because I always suspected
that as soon as I step out
It rings or beeps
But...
Maybe some think of me
in the land of the Danes
Or far from here
where the hyenas yawn
Because...
No one calls me
No one gives a damn about me
But it's not my fault
I pay the phone bill monthly
That situation was unbearable for me
A solution had to be found
That's why immediately
I got an answering machine
And when I came home
I was struck with happiness and joy
The machine happily blinks at me
That someone called
The sweet voice of a woman
reveals and tells me:
"Excuse me, dear Sir,
I dialed the wrong number."
