The stars that I saw at night
All of them are up there in the sky
Even without seeing them during the day
They twinkle in the sky with the big sun

There are thousands of stars and I didn't even know
That they are up there in the sky even during the day
How can the sky have so many stars?
How can it? It looks like a sea of sand...

The sand that I saw on the beach
So many grains are there on the ground
A handful of sand that I pick up in my hand
So many grains that don't fit in the count

How can a beach have so much sand?
How can it? It looks like a sky of stars...
