But houses of life, where we feel 'at home':
We meet God and we meet each other
Great music – Gregorian, or Bach, or Mozart
Are not things of the past
But live on the vitality of the liturgy and our faith
If faith is alive, Christian culture does not become 'past'
But remains alive and present
And if faith is alive, even today we can respond to the imperative
That is repeated again and again in the Psalms:
‘Sing to the Lord a new song’
