Crucifixión
Paquita La Del Barrio
Crucifixion
To love is a woman, how easy it is
If we are chaste and blameless
If we have nothing to reproach
If we are faithful even in our thoughts
But if we stumble on the way
We are treated worse than a criminal
Society judges us harshly
And the poor man doesn't know how to forgive
If the woman you love the most
Has offended you
And has asked for your forgiveness, give it now
For it's not cowardly to forgive women
If God himself has forgiven, who are you?
Being a man is not finishing a bottle
Or boasting about having women in abundance
It's forgiving your wife's worst offense
That's where true men are known
By fate's design, one day I failed
I was condemned, crucified
I had no friends, everyone judged me
Only my God understood me
That's why I advise you, my friend
If you have stumbled because of a human being
Don't beg this vile worm
For the worst sin is to be born a woman
If the woman you love the most
Has offended you
And has asked for your forgiveness, give it now
For it's not cowardly to forgive women
If God himself has forgiven, who are you?
Being a man is not finishing a bottle
Or boasting about having women in abundance
It's forgiving your wife's worst offense
That's where true men are known
