Se Juntan Dos Palomitos
Violeta Parra
Two Little Doves Come Together
Two little doves come together
In the tree of love,
End of the separation
That had them feeling down.
The sun shone with its rays
In that moment in between,
The two wrapped in one cloak
Were blissfully overjoyed.
A mysterious trumpet sounds.
Little dove, I sing to you.
Like the carnation and the rose
Blooming in the garden,
The dahlia with the jasmine
And the fragrant lily.
The butterflies come together
From those two feelings,
And nest their thoughts
To the tune of a melody.
They say good morning
On the most beautiful instrument.
What was sorrow in absence
Turned into joy,
Thus passed the hours
Of serene happiness;
They bless the full moon,
Lady of the sky,
A voice whispers in the wind
In a loving tongue,
Who will keep the rose
That you gave me in that moment.
