Juana de Arco (Destripando La Historia)
Pascu y Rodri
Joan of Arc (Gutting History)
Fifteenth century of our lord
France is in a mess
Welcome, dirty heretics
To Gutting History with Pascu and Rodri
This is Joan of Arc
A hundred years now with this brutal war
And two sides fighting to reign
And in a small town, a young girl will stand out
She talks to God, while in her garden
And tells him that the dauphin must be crowned
And the English must be driven out
The nobles are lacking faith
She sells them that without her they would lose
And they escort her to the future king
Disguised she travels to Chinon
In private, she charmed the king
Gave him armor and a good steed
Go on, go kick some ass
For France! For the king!
She went to Orleans
In the city, things were bad
But Joan arrives and will stir things up
With her banner she runs like crazy to fight
Louis and François, when they see her fight
They get so motivated that now they are worth a thousand
And finally liberate the city
The war progresses, wins in Patay
Charles, the dauphin, is crowned king
God said there is still more to do
In Paris, the truce was signed
Fighting there cost a lot
Joan, outraged, wrote a thousand letters
To those she saw as a bit heretical
She wanted to return, fight every English
The combat resumed
And the enemy captures her and locks her up
And judges her without much rigor
They invented many charges
But Joan refuted them all
And, for being a cross-dresser, it was decided
To burn her at the stake
Although she burned and died
Her people were motivated and won
The war ended
