The sun's got bright colors when it shines on my balcony,
Geraniums have bloomed in purple, and my cheeks are naturally rosy.
And I’m feeling flushed, with my blood all stirred up,
I even walk a little prettier, feeling good.
My back's all burnt from running around,
Today I've got a thousand smiles, if you need one, just ask.
If I had some cash, I’d treat you to a vermouth,
Olives, clams, some spicy potatoes, cheers to good health!

Nights are so beautiful when the sun has shone that day,
I’ll water all my plants, sink into my chair,
How nice it is to lie down and fall asleep in one go,
