Letters in the Basement
The other day I decided to visit my basement
Where I found what I lived in many unfinished letters
It wasn't easy to hide all that I felt
To never remember you again, I collected each letter
I made pieces of a love I wanted
That you never gave me
I wasn't happy with you
And I threw the pieces on the floor
And burned my heart
I burned the kisses I gave you
Every time I cried
I was so stupid and persisted
And every mistake was here
I wanted to try to love for two
Didn't want to know about loneliness
And to regret later
I kept the letters in the basement
