Agua y vino
Pedro Aznar
Water and Wine
Every day he walked dryly
through the orchard under the sun
The idle hour, dead stone
death agony and oranges under the sun
Life passed between that wall and the walls of silence
and the sentinel dogs of his dreams
did not sleep, they saw shadows of lime
in the shadows of the garden
The dead moon, dead night
cold wind and a rosary in front of the gate
And a yellow and temporary fire
consumed the heart
And he began to search among the bonfires slowly
And his heart no longer feared the flames
of hell and endless darkness
love would have to come
