Cattle Drive
Cattle drive, sad cattle drive, on the dusty road
Cattle drive, my heart walks so lonely too
Carrying along the old longing, the hope I've kept inside
It drags the sadness slowly down the road
I left home as a kid, left my parents crying
Grew up all alone in this world, never came back again
My sister must be married now, my mom never forgets me
My dad's probably old by now, my brother doesn't even know me
The moon kisses my face, gently gives me a caress
The wind serenades where I sleep alone
The stars are my guardians, I can sleep at ease
And when they fade away, the sun comes with my cattle
Many times at goodbye, I have to hide my tears
When a tear rolls down, falling from my eyes
The dust rises in the sky, forming a sign
Spreading in letters of dust, a memory of a cattleman
