Flor de Durazno

Peach Blossom
The verses I'm singing
Are heard by Natotonilbo
They are about the peach blossom
A very beautiful horse
He was of light hooves
The scourge of Jalisco
Horse of great height
That was never defeated
Born in Autlan de la Grana
And grew throughout the state
His mother was the Texan
And his father the Coloradan
They say the peach blossom
Could have been more famous
Even the Moor of Cunpas
He would have easily beaten
They say he could beat
The dappled gray colt
He took people from Tiguamo
From the boat and San Gregorio
To see the peach blossom
When he beat the ace of hearts
Although he won in a hurry
He won anyway
They looked for a horse
To end his fame
They prepared the lightning
Terror of Guadalajara
And the peach blossom won
However he pleased
But one Palm Sunday
He won in Puerto Vallarta
The one who rode the filly
Shot the peach blossom
And so ended the horse
Fastest in the region
