Biography
I arrived from Paris following a comet
because in my country there were no storks
I arrived in my city from the inside out
clock and cobblestone of grass and cement
Normal process no internal drama
growing to the beat of eternal rhythms
and I had a friend and I didn't want to lose him
one day I left and never saw him again
I cried when they left me at school
I cried when they left me the first time
I cried when they left me at school
I cried when they left me the first time
It was at twenty-two that I learned about sex,
about the sweet language that lives in kisses.
A vulgar guy, dwarf with dreams
not very nocturnal and quite introverted
I sang to not get bored on Sundays
I sang and that was the way to feel good
I sang to not get bored on Sundays
I sang and that was the way to feel good
Then came the good ideas
and then I was three modern roots
love omens, grandmother's song
d and in the heart some flags
I sang and that was the way to find each other,
I sang and that profession suited me well.
I sang and that was the way to find each other,
I sang and that profession suited me well.
And here we are being born and dying,
moving our feet singing and living.
And here we are being born and dying,
moving our feet singing and living.
And so I'm going to welcome you in this sunset,
and so I feel that it's possible, you just have to want.
And so I'm going to welcome you in this sunset,
and so I feel that it's possible, you just have to want.
