The Tree
I feel good, real good
wanna go for a walk?
na, na, na, na, . . .
I climbed one morning a lovely tree
near my home, almost stumbling
I grabbed the branches, couldn't come down.
Under that tree many people would pass by,
hiding, I peeked out with eyes barely looking.
I fell asleep on the leaves listening to the lullaby
of the birds talking, the wind blowing,
what a beautiful place.
I wrote a poem that I couldn't remember,
almost shivering, I spent the night unwilling to come down.
I was in the tree, la ta ra ta ta
Poem in the tree, la la ra la la
I was in the tree, la la ra la la
Poem in the tree.
I thought about my life and the dreams of my youth,
I discovered the miracle of a smile
after crying.
The old tree taught me with its peace,
that it never harmed,
and I felt inferior in silence.
Poem in the tree, la la ra la la
Poem in the tree, la la ra la la
Poem in the tree, la la ra la la
Poem in the tree, la la ra la la
Dawn arrived, I don't want to move
and the sun starts to shine,
I can see everything, never could see it before,
my voice can't explain it.
Love poem
People passed by and I sighed,
another day sitting on the branches,
up in the tree near my home.
I don't know until when, I can't remember,
now I walk looking without causing harm,
silent and without thinking.
I'm a son of the tree, la la ra la la
I want to be the tree, la la ra la la
poem in the tree, la la ra la la
I'm a son of the tree, la la ra la la
