In His Image
From his lips came the voice and he made the world
He said let there be light and there was light
Disordered and empty was the earth
And with the tone of his voice he ordered it
But what great attention to the being, to man
He could have used his voice but with his hands he formed him
From the dust of the earth with his breath he gave life
In his image he formed man
He gave him dominion over all things
He said you are lord of creation
He crowned him with power and great glory
It's because in his image and likeness he created him
But how careful God was with the being, with man
He could have used his voice but with his hands he formed him
From the dust of the earth with his breath he gave life
In his image he formed man
But what is man, tell me what is man?
That with his hands he formed him, with his breath he gave life
He crowned him with power and great glory, lord of creation
In his image he formed man
He crowned him with power and great glory
Lord of creation, in his image he formed man
