No Me Acostumbro
Pesado
I Can't Get Used to It
I found a photograph
that brought back the past
some letters that talk about love
that we once had.
And the dreams in a drawer
all covered in dust
and a story that speaks
of the pain your goodbye left me.
I stumbled upon a bunch
of your things that you left
forgotten, and I went to hide
in a corner to forget the
pain, but nostalgia hit me harder.
I wanted to find a way to forget
and accept that you’re gone
that it was my luck to never have you again
and my fate was to lose you.
And the nights stretch on
and the days are sadder
and loneliness terrifies me
since the day you left.
I can't get used to you not being here
time doesn’t heal my wounds
God knows I’d try to be happy
but I lack the strength to get used to being without you.
I can't get used to you not being here
I would have given anything for you to stay
but it wasn’t in my hands to stop you from leaving
it was my luck to not have you and lose you forever.
I stumbled upon a photograph
and a bunch of your things
that you left forgotten
that today tear my soul apart.
And the nights stretch on
and the days are sadder
and loneliness terrifies me
since the day you left.
I can't get used to you not being here
time doesn’t heal my wounds
God knows I’d try to be happy
but I lack the strength to get used to being without you.
I can't get used to you not being here
I would have given anything for you to stay
but it wasn’t in my hands to stop you from leaving
it was my luck to not have you and lose you forever.

and a bunch of your things
that you left forgotten
that today tear my soul apart.
