Le Tengo Miedo Al Silencio
Piti Fernandez
I'm Afraid of Silence
I'm afraid of silence
Because I start to think
I want to hear the wind whistle
And the birds chirp
When I walk along the path
In the middle is the darkness
The bleating of a little sheep
Makes me feel accompanied
When the silence grows
And I start to think
My faithful dog companion
Soon starts to bark
And so I go along the tracks
With my spotted roan
And I take a break on the way
To be able to rest
Silence leaves traces in my mind
Silence is deceptive and treacherous
Silence brings the fear of getting lost
And of becoming one with God
When on the little cushion
I rest my head
It's the cricket's song
That makes me drowsy
And that's how looking up
One becomes immensity
I'm afraid of silence
Because I start to think
Silence leaves traces in my mind
Silence is deceptive and treacherous
Silence brings the fear of getting lost
And of becoming one with God
