Desde El Umbral

Poema Arcanus Poema Arcanus

From The Threshold

[L: Claudio B. M: Claudio B. and Claudio C.]

My ivory Venus you crack
By the cruel chiseling of life.
The fire of passion has died,
And its ashes tangled in your hair.

"And you hear me from afar, and my voice doesn't reach you;
let me be silent with your silence"

"I'm leaving, I'm sad; but I'm always sad,
I come from your arms, I don't know where I'm going"

From the threshold to the light I gaze at the tragic garden of our existence,
And I observe you, my withered tree, suffer the lashes of constant autumn
In each leaf a memory goes; forgetfulness rides on the wind,
In each fruit a pain, drifting away in rainwater.

"And you hear me from afar, and my voice doesn't reach you;
let me be silent with your silence"

"I'm leaving, I'm sad; but I'm always sad,
I come from your arms, I don't know where I'm going"

"...I don't know where I'm going..."
