Si Fuera Mía
Polo Montañez
If She Were Mine
In a small blue room, a woman gets up
And looking through the window
Without saying a word, leaning on the pillow
Waiting for so much love that she lacks
By the sparkle in her eyes, through her gaze
You can see the need for a kiss
And in the light of dawn, she tempts me with her back
Hastening half of my desires
With the fingers of her hands, she runs through her hair
Like a harmless creature
And I watch her sleep, her transparent beauty
That I end up comparing to a girl
The fan in front, proudly refreshes her
I feel envy as the air messes up her hair
And her almost red lips fill me with cravings
And the delirium of being with her
In such a small room, where a woman rests
And the soft light that the moon gives
Makes me want to have her, to take care of her, to love her
Because I know there's no one like her
With the fingers of her hands, she runs through her hair
Like a harmless creature
And I watch her sleep, her transparent beauty
That I end up comparing to a girl
The fan in front, proudly refreshes her
I feel envy as the air messes up her hair
And her almost red lips fill me with cravings
And the delirium of being with her
