Meu Paraíso
Porca Véia
My Paradise
Climb on the back, little cowgirl, and let's go away
To live with me in a paradise out there
I built a little ranch, with a roof of wooden planks
One door leading to the living room, another to the kitchen
A set of jars to store provisions
Corn harvested from the field, flour, rice, and beans
Two big benches, a table made of pure wood
A clay stove to warm us in winter
Dried meat hanging on a hook
A kerosene lamp to light up our ranch
Two cast iron pots
A copper pot for the fresh milk
Black kettle, gourd, and silver bombilla
To start the day well, drinking mate at dawn
A wide cot, woven with braided fibers
A small straw mattress for you to snuggle up next to me
And on a peg hanging on the door frame
There's a cowhide pouch for you to keep the combs
Big window to see the sunrise
And light up your smile, my dear cowgirl
