Sister

On the eastern sea, a boat sets sail
To greet the morning faster than anyone else
If the wind carries a message, they say
The breeze that touched me isn’t blowing now

If it’s to pray for you
I guess I can allow myself that now
Drifting along, I’m reminded of
Those nostalgic days that come to mind

Together we’ll live on, side by side

Countless tears from people
The sea before dawn is blue again

The world you’ve created now
Is just a chaotic mess
Grinding and creaking, yet still
It starts to move again

In this season, I’ll gather white flowers
And between the waves, I’ll send them to you
Just like always, with the red sunset

The sound of the bell calls to the cape
Echoing from the church
Carrying the beautiful sister’s prayer
Into the hearts of people
Gently passing through the flow of time
