Há Um País

There is a country in the lands beyond the river
Full of flowers, pleasure, and light
It is destined for the redeemed souls
There they will no longer have struggles or crosses

For it is where death will no longer enter
Nor will sin take away the shine
Jesus, the King of these beautiful mansions
Will joyfully embrace all the saved

Beautiful country, I see the gentle breeze
Caressing fields and gardens
And rocking the silver palms
Of the valleys scented by jasmines

And as the Sun sets on the horizon
I believe to see in dreams this home
I see the friends already resurrected
And all of us praising our good Jesus
