Without God we walked a dirty path
Desires of the world and the flesh drove hungry
Children of wrath, born from the fall of Adam
Slaves of evil and with innocent blood on their hands

Without God the course of the world we follow
In our wills, captives of darkness, lost
Without hope, so poor and naked, without forgiveness
Far from the light, blind, heartless
Not worthy of salvation
