Account V

No one say a word
that will arrive
a noble military man,
a General.
He will know how to speak to them,
with the care
that a knight
shows to his servants.
The General is already arriving
with much pomp
and very well prepared
with his soldiers.
The machine guns
are ready
and strategically
surround the school.

From a balcony he speaks to them
with dignity.
This is what the General tells them
'That all this drama
is useless.
That they should stop inventing
so much misery.
That they don't understand duties
they are ignorant.
That they disturb the order,
that they are criminals.
That they are against the country,
that they are traitors.
That they steal from the homeland,
that they are thieves.
That they have violated women,
that they are unworthy.
That they have killed soldiers,
they are murderers.
It's better for them to leave
without protesting
That even if they ask and ask
they will get nothing.
So leave that place now,
if they don't follow orders
they will regret it'.

From the school, 'El Rucio',
a passionate worker,
responds without hesitation
with a brave voice,
'You, Mr. General
you don't understand us.
We will keep waiting,
even if it costs us.
We are no longer animals,
no longer herds,
we will raise our hand,
fist up high.
We will give new strength
with our example
And the future will know it,
I promise you.
And if you want to threaten
here I am.
Shoot this worker
in the heart'.

The General who listens
did not hesitate,
with anger and arrogance
he shot him,
and the first shot is the signal
for the massacre
and so begins the hell
with the gunfire.
