Fear kept knocking on my door
And me, lying down on your back
Was there still an open wound
Or was it that no one before wanted to love it and not close it?

But then you arrived, like a comet would
Full of light, the magic I dreamed would happen
And me, admiring you flying over the sky of my planet
And you waiting for me to launch the wish for you to return

I knew it was you when I saw you want the worst version of me
That I recognized you when I met you
That what happened to us brought us both here
That it's not a coincidence, that if it's with you, I saw destiny finally smile

I don't know what you're silent about, but I see how you look at me
Take my hand and jump, I'll be the parachute

Because we exist when we're together, no matter how far apart we are
Because when we kiss, the whole world is more than enough
More than we imagine, less than what we will become
I could never write as beautifully as how much I love you

What does it matter what distance tells us?
If when the facts speak, love will remain undefeated
That something as beautiful as auroras in Iceland
Will be as immortal as the pyramids of Egypt

I want a life with the life you give me
A wake-up in Santorini, and a proposal in Disneyland
A wedding on the beach, no matter the battle we have to fight
There are plenty of reasons if it's with you until the end

It won't always be easy, but in my life
No one made me feel a love that fascinates me before
I feel unique when I see how you encourage me
Nothing like being loved as much as you inspire

Let's talk about our childhood, galaxies, fears
Laughing in essence, finding each other in songs
Admiring each other and making each other better
Winning together always depends on the desire both put in

Thank you for making me believe again
Everything happens for a reason, let's trust

As much as we love each other, all we deserve
A home to miss each other less
