There will be more joy for a repentant child
To the good penitent thief, heaven was guaranteed

Christ gives us his life, in a gesture of salvation
Gives us his body and his blood, in the sign of wine and bread

Christ's love is secure, he did what he promised
Sent the Holy Spirit and gave us his church
