To plant
Is much deeper
Enlarges the world
It's a prayer to nature

Who plants waits
In the miracle of the soil
The tiny grain
Flooding the table

That's why I'm
Singing my planting like this
Comparing it to a great river
That overflowed as it rose

With a full soul
My gaze is a canoe
My singing from stern to bow
The bread that the earth sprouted
