From the distance it hangs
And falls again
A dove calls to it

From the mountain comes the wind
The path is bitter,
And the downpour is the verb

But it climbs into my eyes,
And settles on my skin
Like a fresh dawn

Tears of guilt and wind

I sink my mark in its sand
