I lived in a bubble.
I was unaware of the bad part.
I didn't know what sadness was,
Until the time came for my great companion to say goodbye.
My dear grandfather Carlos, went to rest in a place close to God.
Then a storm came and flooded all my garden.

I cried and cried.
I remember how hard it was to rise again.
But I was stronger, I ended up overcoming.
My cut turned into a scar.

I don't hate that phase, after all, I grew up.

Suddenly I opened my eyes and realized
That one day life ends regardless
Of plans, of special care.
Time passes, skin wrinkles
