A Glória da Meia Noite

The Glory of Midnight
The hours passed by, they were there: What is this?
The whole city in turmoil, what a commotion
The strong worried about obeying the law
But they didn't imagine those men were sons of the King
But as midnight approaches, body sore
One looking at the other, worn out
There's nothing to do there, no use complaining
So, the decision came: The way is to sing!
Closer I want to be
My God to you
Even if it's pain
That I unite with you
Suddenly the walls moved
The doors began to open
A light took over the place
No one could leave
One looking at the other
They said: What happened?
The news spread
It's the power of God
When they started to sing, the doors opened
When they started to sing, the chains fell
When they started to sing, the prisoners stopped
When they started to sing, the glory arrived
The walls moving but not falling
It was the doors opening without anyone touching
The jailer scared and not understanding
It was the glory of God showing power
Recitation
And at midnight, when Paul and Silas worshipped the Lord
The walls began to move, all doors were opened
All prisoners were released by the power of the Lord Jesus
Suddenly the wind stopped, the glory appeared
Paul preaching the gospel, with the power of God
The scared jailer said: How can I be saved?
Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved!
So praise, praise, praise
Believer praise!
Praise, then praise, praise
For the doors will open! In praise!
