Still Have

I still have so much to do in this journey of mine
I don't know if I have time, but I know I'm not in a hurry
I already have some experience even though it doesn't seem like it
Some paths taken, I still remember them well

Every now and then I come back to remember why
I'm here, how I came, where I've been and for what?
It's more like a consultation than a return, a reference for progress
Preference to avoid interference in the process

Success, I want it, of course, without losing my character
Avoiding the syndrome that the journey is steep
I feel, more and more young, more alive
I motivate myself to live and life is a good reason

I've had doubts about the gift and the duty
I've made wrong choices and had to review to avoid a rerun
No crisis, it's better to learn
I have to make it profitable and not accumulate mistakes

And as much as I have obligations, I have aspirations
My crazy ideas and inspirations, so many emotions
My reasons to protect myself from greedy eyes
Because when it's time to carry, only I know the weight

It's good that I have so much and I don't even show off
I share by instinct and there's still enough for sustenance
I still have faith that the best is yet to come
And I want to celebrate with those who stopped to listen to me (thank goodness)

If there's still somewhere to go and why
If I still know where I came from and for what
Thank goodness (that there's still)
Who still has (thank goodness)
If there's still (thank goodness)
Thank goodness (that there's still)

If there's still somewhere to go and why
If I still know where I came from and for what
Thank goodness (that there's still)
Who still has (thank goodness)
If there's still (thank goodness)
Thank goodness (that there's still)

I know a million stories like this
Too many stories, about the same old thing, man
It's not that I was just another in this cliché
What's crazy is to know
That a cliché is only a cliché after it happens

And it's real, you can feel like the James in the commercial
I'm more like James Brown
Why? I feel good, even if the sky is falling
And I feel good, knowing that there's still
More poetry where this came from

Enlightened, like the boy from Bethlehem
Carrying his cross too
I say a lot that maybe doesn't serve anyone
But somewhere in the world, it reached someone

Maybe I'm your guardian angel, huh?
Who ascended after listening to RZO, 'the train'
But without a halo, flying like an alveolus
Dressed like rubella, like a plague, forever, amen

Where pigs want Eden, false saints, the hymen
No one told me anything, I saw, man
That's why I wrote, man, trying to save the day like He-Man
But with dark skin like Freeman

Free! Without a trap to avoid becoming a hostage
Seeking higher notes than the 100s
And happy to know that there are still many more stories like this
Where my story came from, thank goodness, that there's still

If there's still somewhere to go and why
If I still know where I came from and for what
Thank goodness (that there's still)
Who still has (thank goodness)
If there's still (thank goodness)
Thank goodness (that there's still)

If there's still somewhere to go and why
If I still know where I came from and for what
Thank goodness (that there's still)
Who still has (thank goodness)
If there's still (thank goodness)
Thank goodness (that there's still)
