In chapter seven, verse eleven of the Book of Luke
The Bible tells about the widow of Nain
And I imagine that woman telling her story

I imagine her saying something like this

Everything was ready, I gave up
I surrendered because death had taken another one of mine
The tomb is ready, the mourners already weeping
Because after my husband, now my son has passed away
And there we go, I looked at the boy
Who was so beautiful to me, but needed to be buried

But at the city gate, with a look of happiness
A man named Jesus came to meet me
(What did he do?)
He stopped the procession and came towards me
He looked into my eyes and said

Do not cry and inexplicably, I stopped crying
He looked at me and felt intimate compassion for me
And he went to the coffin, touched it and began to speak

And Jesus reached out his hand
And began to say to the boy like this

Oh, boy, get up, get up, get up, get up, get up, get up
He moved his hands, moved his feet, opened his eyes, began to sit up
Opened his mouth and suddenly began to speak, breathing returned to normal
Heartbeat, the evil went away, he gave me back the boy
I shouted to those following, the funeral is cancelled
