O Doutor Jesus

The Lord operates without leaving a trace
Doesn't leave symptoms, nor feeling unwell
Without anesthesia and the patient never feels pain

He performs heart transplants
More perfect than any surgeon
In anatomy, he's been trained since creation

He makes the paralyzed jump for joy
No need for physiotherapy
And to the blind man, he touches his eyes and makes him see the light

He heals the leprosy called sin
And cheers the troubled heart
He's wonderful, doctor of doctors, Doctor Jesus

Doctor Jesus does what humans cannot do
Mute speak, deaf hear, stopped heart starts beating
Doctor Jesus does what humans cannot do
Dry bones create flesh, resurrect and walk when man believes

Doctor Jesus healed Bartimaeus
When he entered Jericho
And in Bethany, Lazarus' tomb, the Doctor wept

When he called, the dead heard
And from the grave, Lazarus came out
And the crowd watching all was amazed

Doctor Jesus turned water into wine
Multiplied fish and also bread
Doctor Jesus was killed on the wood without compassion

But even in death, he resisted
On the third day, the tomb opened
With power and glory, for our victory, he rose
