Isso que é Deus

If you are going through the valley of affliction
If you are hurt, heart is wounded
If they threw your dreams into the lion's den
And, thinking of giving up, you lament: It's all over.

It reminds me of a lame man at the temple gate
And asked for alms from anyone who could help him
When Peter and John passed by, it happened
That standing before him, Peter began to talk
And looking into his eyes he said, 'Look at us!'
Clothed with such authority Peter raised his voice
'I have no silver, I have no gold
But what I have I give you!
In the name of Jesus, rise and walk'
And the lame man stood up.

This is God who humbles the proud and lifts up the fallen.
From a small man, He makes an anointed king.
If He commands, the enemy has to surrender.
A word from Him makes everything happen
Wind, sea, and storm obey Him.
For in His hands is all power.
