Dr. Jesus

The Lord operates without leaving a trace
Doesn't leave symptoms or feeling unwell
Without anesthesia and the patient never feels pain
He performs heart transplants
More perfect than any surgeon
In anatomy He has been trained since creation
Makes the paralyzed jump for joy
No need for physical therapy
And to the blind man
Touches his eyes and makes him see the light
He heals the leprosy called sin
And cheers the troubled heart
He is the wonderful doctor of doctors

Dr. Jesus
Does what humans cannot do
Mute speak, deaf hear
Stopped heart starts beating again
Dr. Jesus does
What humans cannot do
Dry bones create flesh, resurrects
And walks when man believes

Dr. Jesus healed Bartimaeus
When he entered Jericho
And there in Bethany, Lazarus' tomb
The doctor wept
When He called the dead heard
And from the grave Lazarus came out
And the crowd watching it all
Was amazed
Dr. Jesus turned water into wine
Multiplied fish and also bread
Dr. Jesus was killed on the cross
Without compassion
But even in death He resisted
On the third day the tomb opened
With power and glory
For our victory He rose
