Raza Odiada Raza Odiada

The Native

Years went by
and the demand remained unchanged
stop lying to us and torturing us.
I see it this way
I want to keep it in mind
this demand of my people.
The land has no owner
the land belongs to those who work it
with the sweat of their body
with the power of their soul
with all the power of their soul.
The native is in his reservation
invoking his gods
with all his sorrow and bitterness.
He asked the moon to die
to ease his torture
for the lack of his brothers.
That the white man has killed
stripping him of his belongings
contaminating the land
killing the grass
leaving everything in misery...
It is the God of death
who awoke in the grass.
It is the God of death
who burned their minds...
The forest is no longer there,
the river dried up.
The land has already been sold
the foreigner bought it.
Expelled the native,
away from his land.
Forgetfulness and humiliation
that's all that's left.
We must stand
and keep going
that together they cannot defeat us
