Natura
Rebeca Lane
Nature
Daughter of nature that's why
Like her perfect diverse
I free myself from the prison of the mind
That's why people don't understand
That I live by my own rules
That to learn I unlearned school
My existence unique and unrepeatable
Not even science understands it
As a consequence of so much thought
Castrated wounded westernized
They taught me to believe that my being
Is man or woman one thing at a time
The power to domesticate begins in your body
That's why they impose a gender
Female or male and only that
Categories of some stiff brain
What did they do to my mind and my heart?
They taught me to love only half of the population
Control my action clouded my reason
With the guilt of being who I am
As I am I am perfect
Nature is diverse certainties remain with me
That flowers and animals are as they wish
Humans are the ones who limit see
Daughter of nature that's why
Like her perfect diverse
I free myself from the prison of the mind
That's why people don't understand
That I live by my own rules
That to learn I unlearned school
My existence unique and unrepeatable
Not even science understands it
Someone explain to me what we have done to the world
We have hierarchized as humans dominated
Enslaved other animal species
We kill them to eat their flesh
Art has been locked in museums
/We still sustain the kingdoms with taxes
We still cry out for the authority
To tell us how to act how to feel and think
Our conscience has been divided
One automatic and the other repressed
We don't feel like a complement to life
Although every particle in essence is divine
That's why being happy is my rebellion
Transforming my reality day by day
Abandoning fantasies from the mind
Not letting utopia escape
Daughter of nature that's why
Like her perfect diverse
I free myself from the prison of the mind
That's why people don't understand
That I live by my own rules
That to learn I unlearned school
My existence unique and unrepeatable
Not even science understands it
