Wandering Sheep
I was once a wandering sheep
From the shepherd I strayed
I wanted to follow my own paths
And I left the fold
It was one step after another
Without noticing, I got lost
And it was already dark night
I wanted to return but couldn't
Despair surrounded me
I was afraid of dying
As the cold froze me
I couldn't move
Why did I go so far
What foolishness I committed
If I could, I would go back
To never leave again
Suddenly I heard in the distance
A voice so familiar
It was my shepherd calling
Almost hoarse from shouting
He spotted me on the cliff
And ran to reach me
He extended his staff
Managed to rescue me
I now cry with sadness
In my chest I feel the pain
Greater pain is when I think
That I left my shepherd
Who embraces me in his chest
And firmly sustains me
His love then calms me
And makes me feel so good
His love then calms me
And makes me feel so good
