For me to get here
I went through many ups and downs in life
Humiliated, mistreated, slandered, despised
Forgotten, I remained hidden for a long time

I spent many nights kneeling
I cried on the pillow
Without relatives nearby
Distressed, many times I saw fear

I won because Jesus is my Lord

I won because he trained me for war

I won because he chose me and called me

My servant, you are a winner

For me to get here

Like a pilgrim I walked, like a soldier I fought
I was adrift at sea

I won the battles and trials
The illnesses, the tribulations
Because Jesus declared to me
Declared me a winner
