Pancho y Arturo
Regulo Caro
Pancho and Arturo
I will tell you another story
Of revenge
Of the many that exist
Once again they made life bitter
For a family in Culiacán
The saying goes that revenge
Has no expiration date
And this is the ballad of my brother
Pancho shouted loudly at me
But I couldn't react in time
And the bullets entered
Through the back window of the car
I tried to open the door
But my seatbelt got stuck
I couldn't even reach the gun
To make matters worse
Pancho ran to the sidewalk
Shooting with the Glock
He hid behind a truck
But the magazine was empty
And from afar I watched as the bullets
Pierced through the car
And my body bounced uncontrollably
Pancho swore to avenge that day
It's been 10 years
And that wound is still open
But on January 9th
He smiled again
(Part in Spanish: Uuytu jujua, just like that, buddy)
Pancho found out that Arturo
Was released from prison
And was sent to the other side
They say he's in Tijuana
He wants to welcome him in person
As he deserves
And remind him of what he did to me
Back in Culiacán
Arturo grew up on the streets
Alone without a mother and father
Among drugs and criminals
Where do you think he would end up?
Do you think he would forgive me?
If he had no mother
He pocketed some money
To come and kill me
Nice to meet you, I'm Francisco
And I offer you my forgiveness
10 years ago you did something
And I always held a grudge
You killed my brother
And maybe you don't even remember
I forgive you
But not my .45
Arturo widened his eyes, confused
And before he could speak
A shot pierced his face
Now my soul is at rest
Thanks to little Pancho
