Un infierno
Reinaldo Yiso
A Hell
The offense of your lips, that swore and deceived,
the enchantment of your kiss where I remained imprisoned.
A claw was your embrace and your skin of silk and satin,
a cruel and eternal hell where my soul burned.
The weariness with its cold made a nest in all of me,
if loving you was death, losing you is to die more.
What a mystery is affection that in the cross of your abandonment,
I still forgive you and love you even more.
You stabbed
without fear, with all your soul,
treacherously and in the back
a dagger, and for what?
Don't you see
that I am wounded and I smile at you
that I still call you my heaven
and I still kiss your dagger.
Don't you see,
that despite everything and against all odds
in heaven or in the mud
I will always love you the same!
To curse you, not follow you, not love you, detest you,
free myself from your hands, fresh rose, I won't be able to.
Like a blind man I stagger without your voice, without your smile,
heaven and breeze, earth and everything, reminds me of your love.
It always burns, night and late, that torch of your eyes
in your hair I am a thorn that pretends to be a carnation,
like ivy that clings to the inevitable stone,
from your unforgettable love I remained attached.
