El Safari

Buddy, we’re going on a safari, to Tanzania or beyond
we’ll enjoy the delights of the great animal kingdom
native labor won’t cost us much cash
they’re just fodder for the boat, greenhouse, or the wall.
We’ll take the savanna, hunt until we achieve
a collection of species, a terminal plunder.

And then we’ll hang their heads in my place, in the living room
while we’re drinking some beers, and to top it off
we’ll make clothes from their skins for our women
we’ll look like heroes among all this mediocrity.

We’ll show off our opulence, fill everything with shit
they’re backward countries; who cares.

It’s not instinct or need
just perversion and vulgarity
is this brain misery
ever gonna end?

Buddy, even though they’re just leftovers, keep this mindset
so many first-world idiots don’t know what to spend on anymore
sometimes it’s a business for luxury and flaunting
devastating their land for those who never had anything.

Let’s see if they finally clean up this band of idiots
