A Vitória Chegou No Meu Lar
Renato da Rocinha
Victory Has Come to My Home
The children can now enjoy leisure
In the backyard and on the balcony
Seeing the black woman smiling with so much pleasure
My castle is no longer just one room
In the pantry there is no lack of food
In the garage a car for us to wander
Help me, mighty God
Victory has come to my home
And I thank God every day
Sharing with my peers
Sharing love and joy
I go beyond material goods
I keep moving forward
Living life humbly
Without letting the source dry up
Without letting the rope wear out
Without getting dazzled
I don't deny my origins, my people, or my place
