Story
My father was the one who told me
That there are days when night is sad
In the lion's cage without a tamer
My mother in philosophy
Used to say time changes every day
The world is a clock without an alarm
But we always have certainty
And reason eats at our table
No one wants to look at the sky and see
That there is something more
But we have youth
Not bad when you have health
No one wants to look inside and see
What was left behind
My grandfather only in the Scriptures
Sits and listens, oh creature
And cuts that hair
Looks like a nobody
My grandmother a little more distant
The pork chop tied with string
One Hail Mary and everything else is fine
But we always have certainty
And reason eats at our table
No one wants to look at the sky and see
That there is something more
But we have youth
Not bad when you have health
No one wants to look inside and see
What was left behind
Remember the Creator from youth
Living under the gift of love for eternity
Remember the Creator from youth
Living under the gift of love for eternity
My mother first went to church
While my father enjoyed a beer
But everyone on the path, look at your brother
The pastor walked almost close
Advice on right and wrong
It's good that there's always someone to say no
But we think we have the world
Our nose is our estate
No one wants to look at the sky and see
That there is something beyond
But we own the truth
Always think we're old enough
No one wants to look inside and see
What we still don't have
Remember the Creator from youth
Living under the gift of love for eternity
